Collage mural

The sketching is continually evolving into a large scale mural drawing. Describing how the artist is interacting with the online finding aid navigation tools, magnifying in selective elements of the digitized record, using bold mark making to create this unusual ship composition. The organization of papers, correct layouts doesn’t matter as a sense of movement, interactivity, fleeting glances is recorded. It’s quite literally a representation of the creative process based upon the map.
